ABOUT
Dawn West Barnett, ASID, NCIDQ, RID
With over 40 years of experience in residential and commercial design, award-winning designer Dawn West creates casual, elegant, and comfortable interiors.
“When the personalities of my customers are reflected in their interiors, their house becomes their home.”
Dawn holds a Professional American Society of Interior Designers Certification, a State of Texas license for Interior Design, and is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a degree in Interior Design.
Dawn West lives in University Park, Texas with her family and was instrumental in founding, raising awareness and the operation of Friends of the Lost Boys - DFW. The organization was created to step into the gap that exists when the Lost Boys of Sudan came to the United States. The members would strive to become the friends, mentors, and extended family that the Lost Boys of Sudan did not have. Although the organization closed following the pandemic of 2020, the impact made by Dawn West and her fellow partners continues to foster connections across the globe.
